Polygonum Multiflorum, Radix (Chinese: He shou wu, fo-ti) tonifies and detoxifies the Liver and Kidneys. It is a crucial herb to nourish the blood and essence. Excellent for the hair. Research has shown that it decreases cholesterol levels. Combines well with Ginseng, Ligustici Wallichii, Eucommiae, Cuscutae, Lycii, Achyranthis, Angelica Sinensis, Paeoniae, or Cornus. Use 9-30 grams in four cups water.
