Detailed Description
Modern Master's Series Neck Formula dispels Wind, dispels Cold, drains Dampness, invigorates the Blood, circulates the Meridians, tonifies the Qi, nourishes Blood, and alleviates pain.
Neck Formula targets pain due to a combination of excess bi-syndrome or Qi and Blood stagnation with underlying deficiency. Patients with this type of neck bi-pain usually present with Liver & Kidney deficiency or weak Qi combined with wind-cold-dampness in the meridians and collaterals of the neck area. These combined syndrome patterns lead to the contraction of the tendonomuscular meridians of the neck and local obstruction of Qi and Blood, which results in the patient’s subjective sensations of stiff, painful muscles and tendons, aching and numbness of the joints, and a decrease in the normal range of motion. This formula is very effective for neck pain due to a combination of excess and deficiency, with such symptoms as dizziness, headache, stiff and painful neck, shoulders and back, and pain and numbness in the arms.
Dosage: 3-4 tablets, 3 times a day.
Ingredients: Codonopsis pilosula root (Dang shen), Astragalus membranaceus root (Huang qi), Rehmannia glutinosa root-raw (Sheng di huang), Paeonia lactiflora root (Bai shao), Haliotis diversicolor shell (Shi jue ming), Salvia miltiorrhiza root (Dan shen), Vaccaria segetalis seed (Wang bu liu xing), Pueraria lobata root (Ge gen), Ophicalcitum mineral (Hua rui shi), Clematis chinensis root (Wei ling xian), Ligusticum chuanxiong rhizome (Chuan xiong), Prunus persica seed (Tao ren), Phellodendron amurense bark (Huang bai), Gentiana macrophylla root (Qin jiao), Notopterygium incisium root and rhizome (Qiang huo), Atractylodes lancea rhizome (Cang zhu), Pheretima aspergillum (Di long), Carthamus tinctorius flower (Hong hua), Boswellia carterii resin (Ru xiang), Commiphora myrrha resin (Mo yao), Eupolyphaga sinensis (Tu bie chong).
Contraindications: Contains strong blood moving herbs, therefore, Contraindicated during pregnancy. Contraindicated for very weak or deficient persons. Use with caution in hemorrhagic disorders or with patients on anti-coagulant therapy. Use with caution during heavy menstrual bleeding. Use with caution in persons with gastric or duodenal ulcers, diabetes, or hypertension due to nephrosis. Contains tree nuts.
