Fu Zi belongs to the herb category: Herbs that Warm the Interior and Expel Cold. It is acrid, hot, and toxic. It revives and tonifies yang, guides the actions of other herbs into all twelve channels, expels cold-damp painful obstruction. Unless directed by a professional we advise using this herb topically only.

Note: Fu zi is best for treating cold and can be used with tonifying herbs, Zhi Chuan Wu is best for treating wind and cannot be used with tonifying herbs because its drying and dispersing nature is excessive.

Packets can be taken singley or combined with other herbs to make a formula. Use one packet to four cups water. Drink 1-3 cups per day. Please consult Chinese Herbal Medicine: Materia Medica, 3rd Ed.
